Maybe because of investment and real life demand as an increasing number of applications are using it. Also due to the backing of large corporations and being technologically more powerful. In an age where time is money it is both faster and cheaper, resulting in huge Network effects.

Recently ETH got huge price increase. Is there any specific reason for that much of Increase ?  as more and more investors are investing in etherium that makes the price even higher, as btc prices are also rising. I think that's the cause. |

There are no specific reasons.It is an adjustment of supply and demand. When bitcoin price is too high, people can't afford to buy it, so they tend to search alternatives. ETH is one of the best alternative so it is called altcoin. 1 700 USd they can earn 1 eth. To buy bitcoin? They only got 0.038 BTC. it is very small amount of money in the crypto. |

Here is the evidence why you buy the dip.... Nice steady rise back up. If you want to lock in profit sell half and then buy the next dip. Just remember when the rocket takes off and your half out waiting for the dip your going to lose out on half the wins. Moral of the story. HOLD.

There is a lot of big money and investment capital flowing into the cryptocurrency space and as derivatives, cmes and futures will be coming to play in a big way, these areas of fiscal activity need large liquidity cand capitalization. So mainly the big cryptos will be swallowed up now by financial institutions and corporate entities who will start hoarding these as a store of wealth. Pension plans will also eventually incorporate crypto assets into their funds. So ETH being as large as it is after Bitcoin is no doubt going to be a winner here in the price hike.  True on one hand, but for the time being, there is no need for all these big institutions to fill orders on these derivatives yet, since all the Bitcoin futures for now are cash settled, meaning they have only a small, psychological impact on Bitcoin/crypto market, not physical. But this doesn't mean all the attention won't result in new money coming to the crypto markets. I felt ETH rise was partly due to this actually, more people want to buy Bitcoin, but the new money sees more value in cheaper Eth. Winners all around, but Bitcoin paves the way, as usual. |

Actually the price of Ethereum has been developing rapidly in recent times. as well, There is a huge development for the price (Over 46% in last 7 days). So the value of Ethereum is going in an insane way.
I guess that this is the best period of time for invest and to saves a big quantity of money because in the future this evolution will continue.

I guess it is about time for eth to increase in value since over the last weeks, it hasn't increased. This could have been because of bitcoin's fork and growth in value. Eth may have been probably too affected by it. Now that eth had somehow stabilized and is back in track, it could be one reason why eth value had significantly increased.

I think everyone is investing more in ethereum too next to bitcoin because i myself believed it will possibly follow the footsteps of bitcoin in the future. As we can see ethereum is rapidly increasing right now and investors will surely gained a huge profit by this ethereum madness. Bitcoin and ethereum are too great pair for investments.

A correction is certainly needed, it flew from $300-650ish without any dips.
I think there will be no correction. Since the price for a very long time did not exceed the enchanted border of $ 300. Now constantly exceeds the price of 700 dollars. Drops and comes back. The news of futures contracts only pours oil into the fire and the price tends to go up. I hope for a rise in price. 700 is not so much a big price for the ethereum, to wait for a slide. |
