Howdy all,

This is an important announcement regarding stats published on CoinChoose. They are plain wrong ! Difficulty is currently at 2.58, not 0.249.

What's happening is that there was a required client upgrade released, which was not applied by CoinChoose the NRB block explorer, on which CoinChoose relies. This upgrade fixed a bug in difficulty retargets, and introduced a new set of rules for retargets.

This upgrade was announced about a week ago, maybe more, and sal0002 knew about it..

Basically, you're not as profitable as you think you are mining Noirbits. Just wanted to let ya know.

Best,

Well, at least, people are warned. Now if they blindlessly trust coinchoose, can't do anything much about it. But you are right, so here it is :

Profitability is currently 12.5x times lower than what CoinChoose reports !

Better ? Smiley

As discussed via PM - my data is based on the public block explorer which didn't upgrade.  I will deactivate Noirbits right now until I hear confirmation from someone that the public block explorer has been upgraded.

FYI - the explorer is at http://nrb.webboise.com/chain/Noirbits
