Hello, welcome.
What do u have to mine? If you don't have a dedicated stuff, you should probably not mine... Or it will not be very profitable.

You won't make big bucks from mining. The ways I can think of for making big bugs, if done really well are:

1. Buying and holding for the long term. This may be very profitable and already has been for some people.

2. Day trading. You can day trade bitcoins or mining stocks. Both are quite volatile and therefore potentially quite profitable.

3. Starting a business for the fledgeling bitcoin economy.

Good luck and ask plenty of questions.

Buy dedicated equipment for mining Bitcoins (i.e. ASICs).
GPUs only serve to mine certain altcoins such as LTC and FTC now.
Saying that, you could start mining Primecoin with your CPU Smiley

You should read a more about mining, ASICs, and profitability. The forums here have some good information but you can google around and find nice tutorials as well.

I'd check into exchanges, it's easy to double your money over night. I've even done it accidentally a few times, like with Primecoin a day or two ago. There's also alot of speculation going towards Litecoin right now, mostly with Mt.Gox and pumps. Google words you don't get, then you can go in the right direction.

If you would like to donate to my jalapeno mods, or just buy me a b33r it's all appreciated.

You could trade as suggested above, or you could buy an ASIC for BTC, or you could buy GPUs for alts, or you could CPU primecoin.
