That is a big part of it. In fact it depends on your product or service.

For example OGnasty my first customer there.. i explained to him his target audience will mostly come from people searching Google.

We need to find them when they are searching for his service.

This one can generate sign ups right away.. and does not really need search traffic to get sign ups.

The second project.. is Hawala.

It went from around 50 cents to 8.40 or so, lucky i bought a bunch the day i did the blog post. Has a low supply of tokens of 7M and a solid project behind it.

1-2000 hits per day for the first few days, then around 20-100 hits per day, mostly Google traffic.
