As the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin gain value, it becomes more and more popular. Although most people sympathise Bitcoin, governments and central banks don’t really favour this rapid rise.

Last month we’ve witnessed the statements of Bank of France Governor Francois Villeroy and New York Fed President William Dudley as they both refer Bitcoin as bubble, not a currency. Now, a new warning comes from Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Economy Mehmet Şimşek;

“Bitcoin has just surpassed the biggest bubble on finance history; Tulip Mania… It is important to stay away from this hype. This sharp rise in prices may end up with a huge collapse”

Seems that Turkish prime minister just follow their imam who said that bitcoin and crypto currencies is out of the Koran. There is no doubt that there is a lot of huge crypto investors from this country, but I don't want to judge the way that they choose. Even if Turkey will go away from crypto currencies' use it will only mean that we will be able to buy bitcoin a little bit cheaper, cause of such move from their side will definitely attract some new price fall.

So he's only speaking out against Bitcoin (there's no law or proposed law against in being put in place), right?

It's nothing but an attempt to make people avoid Bitcoin, but it's not working at all. In the last months we have seen many central bank CEO's speak out negatively about Bitcoin, where they all more or less advice people to stay away from it. I am not exactly sure what central bank CEO it was, probably from Switzerland, where he was quite positive on crypto currencies, which is something that we aren't used to see. I like how open minded certain high level entities are, because at the end of the day, they might at some point function as role model for other central banks to dramatically lower their tone against crypto currencies.

Stay away from Bitcoin and continue to see your wealth buy you less on a yearly basis. Stay away from Bitcoin to let yourself remain a slave of this system. Stay away from Bitcoin to function as cash cow for the government.

But then again, what else can we expect from an entity who's economical rules are the complete opposite of Bitcoin's economical rules. We can't expect them to cheer for Bitcoin and advice people to own it.

Bitcoin outgrows every aspect of their economy, which is something they obviously feel coming in as a threat. Honestly speaking, it may actually turn out to be a threat to their economy at some point in the far future.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

" Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister: Stay Away From Bitcoin "

there are certain countries that seem to be operating in a uncoordinated way, today a government official appears in the press and issues declarations X (We will never accept thing A), tomorrow the governor of the central bank issue a statement Y (next year we will regulate A), then the president of the country will appear and issue a statement Z (we will accept thing A, the government will do everything to make it happen). Oh, a few days later the same people appear in the press and this time the positions change.

speaking specifically about turkia:

" Bitcoin’i Yakından Takip Ediyoruz

Using Google translator

" We Follow Bitcoin Closely

Culture and Tourism Minister Kurtulmuş said that the Central Bank and the Istanbul Stock Exchange continued their work closely following the "Bitcoin" market. "Some countries view Bitcoin as a savior, and some countries demonize it. We are closely following them, "he said.

Culture and Tourism Minister Numan Kurtulmuş pointed out that some countries are supporting digital money "Bitcoin" and that some countries banned Kurtulmuş, doubts about "Bitcoin" in the world, said hesitations can not be resolved yet. Kurtulmuş stated that the Central Bank and the Istanbul Stock Exchange continued their work closely following the "Bitcoin" market and said, "We have not yet officially adhered to our practice. Some countries view bitco as a savior, and some countries demonize it. We are following them closely ". "

We tried to tell them how good and big Bitcoin will be back in 2013, they didn't listen. Now they try to tax it without recognize it. Smiley
These politicians are completely joke. Their voters are poor and uneducated people. Their propaganda ways are similar to Hitler. Their behavior is not surprising at all.
