Hi! I come to be away from high hard cap ICOs. It does not give high returns. Tough to find low to mid range caps these days. Any good suggestions?

Not sure about that, There are so many successful icos with a high cap already raised a lot of the return after that already listed on the exchange site. Just like zrx and quantstamp of you are early investors and you may take a lot of benefits from here. That depends on the hype.

I want to ask what do you think a decent project chose for their hard cap, this is getting difficult now with the rising price of Ethereum and Bitcoin, those projects that have raised thousands of BTC must be sitting on huge pill of money by now

In my opinion this depends on the project itself and the idea behind it. Actually ICO's with low hard caps are kind of shady ICO's in my opinion, because they want to create hype around their ICO and then artificially drive price up because there was a low hardcap.
The idea of ICO's is to distribute tokens in a fair manner to the public by selling the tokens and raising money from that (crowdfunding). The ICO model is not intended to make a small circle of investors rich in a fast manner. Although unfortunately some people have forgot that and look at ICO's like at a quick money scheme.
An ICO with a solid idea will set a high hard cap for fair distribution and still be successful, just because the business idea will work and adoption and therefore demand for the coin / token will follow organically.
Those are my personal thoughts on ICO's.

It is acceptable but low cap icos tend to be more unsuccessful you know, developers need money to realize their dreams. So I still prefer high cap icos as devs feel bit more responsible.

what is the problem with High hard cap ? because sometimes you need to wait for long period time to get huge returns in ICO. and this not only for high hard cap , but low and middle cap too

That is reason many countries go ahead to ban the new ICO emerging in the market. Actually as Korean reported the fear the loosing money of their country citizens invested on the risky high capital ICOs. Whatever, you will find some low amount and mid range investment ICOs once in a while so choose best one among that whether they have the proper escrow about the token distribution and etc. Then you check to invest on the verfied blog and road map information.

It is much more better to join icos that are using a hardcap, because you are not going to join one who is only willing to raise $10000 or a little bit more, you are joining a serious project instead of a crappy one. Just like zrx and quantstamp
Take a look over Envion

Experienced traders as I know always prefer low cap coins and low cap ICO they said will gave much more returns of course if project is solid. So, it is risky but much more profitable and your risk minimizes with your own due diligence.

ICO is always a risk. You give your money to the project, white paper, the team and the work plan. You invest in the idea.

How much is a high cap? In my opinion, Which project need more over $50 million is a high cap project. Therefore, I would like to suggest you some medium cap project. They are INS ecosystem and Wepower. Wepower provides a project use green power to mine Bitcoin while INS provide a platform for the consumer can buy commodities from the manufacturers directly. You can access their website to get more detail and invest.

High cap doesn't show that the project is a scam. First of all we need to look at the team and founders, their background and previous experience. This is the most indicative.

I think only following ICOs of these projects, for me, are reasonable: Aragon, 0x, OAX, ethereum, and mostly old ICOs. now only 2-3% of ICOs are investable.

It depends what you mean by a high cap.
Nowdays a 40m cap isnt that high really when you look at coins like Trezar which raised over 200m for example.
And with the current influx of new money, many of these 40m coins are jumping to 100+ within a week or release which is crazy.

I don't think that any project would ever raise more than $100M in 2018. The future is for low cap projects. I believe that any startup doesn't need so much money to implement any kind of idea.

It is in fact good to get no return from a high cap ico, you usually get less than you invested after it is listed on exchanges.
