FAQ -
Prize pool - There is no upper limit or lower limit of entries. The prize pool expands with the number of entries. 1-125 Entries - Drawing 1 winner - 1 Block Erupter 126 - 249 Entries - Drawing 2 winners - 1st = Block Erupter, 2nd = 50% of the 126-249 Entry fees 250 - 375 Entries - Drawing 3 winners - 1st = Block Erupter, 2nd = Block Erupter, 3rd = 50% of the 250-375 Entry Fees Following that pattern indefinitely.
Method of Draw - We use discovered blocks to pick the raffle 4 digit winner. Starting at 10p EST, the hashes from 6 consecutive discovered blocks are recorded.
Block 1 - 932a804a05ad7c1baa277fa1924d20c1b2c986d6883a3112d6 Block 2 - 7253a927900b56e0c814b80385b5a677178b950d2b6e786fc7 Block 3 - 85fab3f65504107264dec5fb3f5a3447d44e9196a869d1aea9 Block 4 - 7bba4e5649dd6ba1df720ed0acb199702840fac9d4084cd76e
Using only the numerals in those blocks, from left to right. We will keep moving to the right until a have a wining numeral. (excluding the 14 zeros(for now)) I will let the first block pick the first winning numeral of our raffle number. The second block pick the second numeral The third block pick the third winning numeral the fourth block pick the fourth winning numeral. The fifth and sixth block will only be used if NO winning numbers appear in any of the block hashes. (unlikely to be needed)
So, our raffle numbers are 4 digits 1001 1002 1003 1004 1005 1006
In this example, the first three digits are all the same in our raffle numbers, so the fourth block will pick our winner. Block 4 - 7bba4e5649dd6ba1df720ed0acb199702840fac9d4084cd76e I simply move left to right until the number in the block hash matches a number in our raffle drawing. 1004 Would Win

No cap on tickets? No thanks. -snip-
Why shuold there be a cap? Someone could buy 100 tickets but that's more then what the block erupter is actually worth =P Mainly just because the more tickets that get created/purchased, the lower the odds of winning are per ticket. So say i buy (fake math numbers incoming) 10 tickets and there are a total of 100 purchased tickets, i have a 10% win chance. If someone else buys 50 more tickets, i've now got a <10% chance to win Then we add the math of "at XYZ tickets somone gets 2nd wich is 50% of winnings, at an even higher number of tickets, two blockerupters will be sent out aswell as a 2nd place winner" And it becomes more complicated, but my point is still there, my odds will continue to go down. The prize pool expands with entries.
You're an idiot.
Oh, you've sortof capped it at 125tickets per block erupter!, how silly of me to miss that. No need to call me an idiot, i was just being one at the time due to info i didnt fully read I think i may buy a few tickets
