Hi there,

running a windows machine, via wifi. here is my problem:

- bitcoin qt wallet would not sync ("no source of blocks availaable" & no connection (zero nodes) to the bitcoin network.
- made .dat wallet back-up
- updated bitcoin qt client
- still same issue
- deleted bitcoin qt client
- created wallet on blockchain.info and dropped the back-up dat file into it
- still incorrect data/not synced
- downloaded the bootstrap.dat file with torrent
- re-installed bitcoin-qt
- still same problem but now i want the client to load the blockchain from the bootstrap.dat file.

anyone here that can explain me how or if this is possible at all?
now the client continues to try and connect to the network unsuccesfully.
(p.s. in the meantimehave changed port from 9050 (seemed default) to 8333, but still no connection to the network  - changed port back to 9050)

I guess my chance is that i sync my qt wallet from the bootstrap.dat file. but how?
please help a newbie!

thanks and the one that is able to help me will receive 10% of my lost btc (1,5 btc lost )
