How to apply Blockchain to Real retail shops?

Hi there,
I just wondering what's the best way to apply cryptocurrencies to a chain of real retail shops? I'm developing a fully robotised shop where robots will serve instead of people. We're almost close to complete R&D stage but I came across a blockchain opportunity and would like to ask people about its applicability? And for sure I aware of a possibility to sell goods by receiving cryptocurrencies but anything else? The shop should look like tthis
