Nowadays, it's easy to create your own coin.
Just recycle some old stuffs from everybody and change the ticker & other info.
Hope the dev will add some unique features on this coin.
Otherwise, just a copy and paste from the others, which are also copy and paste from the others and so on....

The explanation of the technology is almost identical to bitcoin's. There's too much competition in the market for a coin with no unique features to get a foot hold any more. All coins operate using peer-to-peer technology with no central authority.
