December 13, 2017 Here is the newest report from the silicon valley. On December 13 at 11 a.m. CST, (December 12 7 p.m. US Pacific Time), the UnitedBitcoin(UBTC) hold a global conference at Santa Clara in Silicon Valley. Jeff Garzik, a contributor of bitcoin core, attended this conference as the chief scientist and board member of UnitedBitcoin.

During the conference, Wouter van der Schagt, the executive director of UBTC, talked about the latest condition of UBTC with attendants. UBTC fork was successfully launched at the block height of 498,777, and the first phrase distribution has finished following the ratio of 1BTC:1UBTC. Cross chain distribution of the second phrase and its detailed rules will be released before January 3.
