BTC price prediction for December 31, 2017

Ok, so there is a new year coming up soon, but let's speculate of where Bitcoin will finish the year. So, I say the best way to do this is to put your high of the day & low of the day price for Bitcoin on December 31. Also, if you're a bull, then you can just put the high & if you're a bear, then you can just put the low. But just as an example, I will put both.

We will use UTC for the official end of 2017.

I don't know whether it can reach 22K level but mostly it may reach around 20K mark. Now it looks like Bitcoin is under correction and once that is done then we may see any 10% to 15% increase in price means around 20k mark. Last a few months already Bitcoin run up a lot and now it may take some time before next big run-up.

Yes, but $22k seems not likely in 2 weeks, but just last month, an $17k high by year end seemed not likely to us.

Also, I thought it was under correction when it went to $11.5k & then back to 9k, but that only lasted for a day & then it just Energizer Bunny'd on me.

Every one have right to made some prediction, and this can be realistic if we see at the moment that price is "stable", no sudden ups and downs.
However this is sign that something will happen, for us we expect to see him going up we are still far from the moon figuratively.

For me think that we will see 20k price range with some small adjustment rather then we can cross little higher for 22k.

lets talk about our activity that will we do when we're reaching the end of the year ?
for example a company,
they will make a report for their activity for the year and will make a calculation about their progress.
does not that mean the price will be pushed due to this ?
other than that i believe many people will liquidate some of their Bitcoin to pay their needs or to take some vacation ?
i believe a day or two days before the end of this year there'll be a downward movement caused by peoples,groups.
so that mean the price is very unlikely to reach $20.000 in the end of this year.
(of course it will only happen if there're no suddend pump that will happen with it and pushing it to around $30.000)

It seems that is is not easy to to cross and hold 17k$ level,and we are now very close to 16k$.I think that people expecting maybe too much from bitcoin futures and nothing spectacular about price increase did not happened since December 10.

I expect that low price can be around 13-14K$ and high maybe 25k$.Since there is 16 days until December 31. everything can happen,sincerely nothing can not surprise me when it comes to BTC.We can go to 20k$ in two days easy,but also in the opposite direction-If you ask the average user few month ago would he be happy with 10k$ at the end of this year I think the answer would be yes in 100%.Every price above that is just big gift for me

may be its too hard to get more than 20k dollars per bitcoins. but you will never know how many new people will invest and join.
the more people join the more high its price. but actualy even 15k-20k its a pretty nice price of bitcoins.

I think that the price will be around $ 18,000. Might be a slight uptick in prices after the price has kept at the same level for quite a long time, but then there is a rollback and I am sure that price until mid-January will keep 18-20 thousand dollars. Perhaps traders will be watching futures for February.

my prediction about the price of bitcoin at the end of this year may be decreasing, this is because some of bitcoin users will certainly sell it for necessities ahead of Christmas and the new year, possibly going back up in the upcoming mid-February.

I think anywhere from $19k to $25k is reasonable price for December 31, bitcoin has shown it is currently in a pump mode despite some setbacks these last couple of days.

Well, it is all speculations and that is why we are here anyway. First off, it is not something anyone can predict for sure as everything is dependent on what happens on the chart next, if there would be a breakout upward or we are taking a slopy position down. However, I still feel there could be some possibilities of a bull run a little above $20k, and that is when I am really waiting to see what is going to happen next. I do not trust those wall street guys even though they are on a different lane, gambling their way out which is none of my business, but they are born to be manipulators and I will not be surprised if they decide to take some actions on the market to probably use it to gain some upper hand.

possibly at that date the highest price for bitcoin is $20k or even less but in my view above $15k still possible too if there is an corrections price at december 31 but predict the exact bitcoin price is so difficult although many people have their own predictions regarding the upcoming price but only several of them who able to got precise predictions

Not at all bro.Eventhough the price of bitcoin fluctuates, it not go less than 16000$,Which seems the price settle at 16,000$ now.If you found any less value, just trade and buy the bitcoin. Because the price of bitcoin will reach 20,000$ at the year end. So you will get some dollar for New year celebration.

I think if BTC goes near to $20k a massive sell will occur, which will drop the price below $15k. Maybe on 31 december the high will be around $19k, with a low of ~$17.5k, but even if it stays around those ranges for a couple of days I think it is possible to drop to ~ $15k since people who bought now will take profits, which will crash the market ~ 20%. Only time will tell :/

I think the price could go lower because it's holiday season guys, there's a high chance that some bitcoin holders is going to sell their BTC to spend for holiday this month. But if I'm going to predict it here it goes.

Because i want to withdraw some money to have it on fiat..

We will see, i am optimist too, but i dont think that it will increase that much in just a few days

Bitcoin price in December 31 2017 will be its highest and I,m sure it will be a record price of bitcoin because bitcoin never reached to this price before as now a days we are looking and even today its price is high because its users have been increased in this year ten last year so all of its investors are waiting to for its highest price and some of them start selling of bitcoin because its price is now unstoppable and will be go more high and next week more investors will start selling.

If bitcoin does hit $20k before christmas then these figures are extremely likely actually.

I definitely would not be surprised if your predictions come true, since we seem to be initiating a renewed rally right now. as i said - once the $20000 barrier is done, then your predictions can actually be an underestimation.

Though if we don't see much pumps soon, then it could mean that $20k will be hit next year and not this year. It's all speculation at this point and honestly nobody knows for sure, and it goes without saying.

Still price moved little forward and we have weekend and next whole week for some movement in price, if dont reach this target then we will have some downfall in price not huge but price could go down for 2000-3000 down.

Yup! I agree, because the price is too high right now people are engaging in an asset type of thing with their bitcoin, and even if there's gonna be someone that's gonna use bitcoin to buy gifts I really think it will be a quarter of percent the number on the community that's gonna use their bitcoin, And it is quite cumbersome to use your bitcoin at the moment, now that we can hit another all time high.
