I'm reading about all the different kinds of wallets.  It's great..

One question though... If I am transferring my holdings of say Bitcoin from one wallet to another, does the original wallet
records of your holdings get deleted?  Or... do you have to delete them yourself?

Thanks

There will be record in original wallet when you transfer. Anyway, it is beneficial as you would be able to see your past transaction.

Of course there will be fees for transferring anywhere? You can save those if u do trading of btc bought from indian exchanges. For ex. Unocoin has an option to put address where you want to store you just purchased btc for instance and put there you trading exchange wallet.

Thanks for the replies!
When purchasing say bitcoin,  you record this transaction in a designated wallet, does it cost anything to record the transaction in your wallet?

For example..
1 -  I go to a broker and buy bitcoin with AUD.  The broker charges a fee, say 1-5% for example.

2 - When the transaction is complete and I own some bitcoin and record this transaction in my wallet, does it cost me to do so? Or, is that part covered by the broker?

Thanks
