I think the safest way to save altcoin is enough to keep it in the wallet, because it proves to be quite safe and many people use it so it is quite reliable, and its use is quite easy.

I agree with you, but my fear is due to the following fact. Brazil is trying in all ways to tax the coins and consequently the police will get in the middle of it. Are not you afraid the police will close several sites?

i highly recommend hardwallets like trezor/nano ledger but if you don't have enough money to provide this. then you can use web wallet which is cold storage like Electrum, be sure to keep your private key

You are afraid that Brazilian authorities are going to close non-Brazilian websites? That simply cannot and will not happen you need not worry about this. What you should do then however is not go on any Brazilian websites that are crypto related, ie exchanges, forums, or anything else. Do that and you will be completely fine. Btw either use a Trezor, Ledger Nano, or KeepKey to store your funds if you are worried about theft.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

Safest is to make paper wallet with offline computer. You should search for that on this forum or on goggle. It also depend what coin you plan to store. Some if is some new tech you might have more problems if is just a btc clone or a token is simple.

So so safe but super simple is buying Ledger S hardware wallet.  You can get it for like $70 and can store quite a variety of coins now, soon even Monero.

The safest is that you use hardwallets such as trezor / nano ledger, these types of hardwallets to secure your coin types absolutely. You can also use some great online wallets like coisebase, blockchain, Myetherwallet, these online wallets are also very safe and easy to use. But remember to save private key carefully to avoid losing your property.

The hardware wallet should become very good place for your to store your altcoin. But if you don't have hardware wallet and you can try to make your own wallet through USB. There is a lot of method in the internet about that. Another choice you can try to use multiple crypto wallet just like jaxx, coinomi and eidoo.

I know that all wallets are safe, but it's safer if you keep them in hardware like trezor / nano. and it will be better for you.

You can keep private key in safety place because private key is the key that you will open your wallet. Don't give your private key to someone because it is dangerous Smiley

For me it is hard wallet, there some good ones out there you can buy like ledger and nano but not all tokens are supported on it, you can also use Desktop wallet of the token you are holding which is more secured than web wallet

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

Safest way will be always cold storage, a computer that is offline no internet access via LAN or WiFi (ideally not present at all) Wallet is created in an offline environment. You can buy hardware wallet that is very secure, impossible to lost coins once you get to know how to use it, even your computer is compromised and someone has access in order to create transaction you will need to put the PIN code on your wallet and confirm the transaction. Most popular hardware wallets are Trezor and Ledger Nano S. Next step down is wallet on your PC - for Bitcoins Electrum is a good way to go. For Ethereum ERC20 based Tokens - MyEtherWallet is OK. Remember you can check balance in Ethereum explorer no need to login to MEW every time same with BTC using explorer. I use MyEtherWallet - passwords and private key I keep encrypted on offline PC with VeraCrypt (based on TrueCrypt). Cold storage and hardware wallet will be the most secure way to store Bitcoins and other alts.

The safes wallet for altcoins would be a hardware wallet which supports multiple altcoins. In this case it would be Ledger Nano S which supports the major altcoins. Trezor is an alternative to Ledger Nano wallet. Although hardware wallets are a bit costly but they provide a better security than any other wallets. Most people tend to choose this wallet as it is the most safest wallet. Next to this would be a paper wallet which you can easily get it from their official website. You can also install the altcoin's official wallet in your PC or smartphone.

Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.

The safest way for you to store your specific Altcoins is to secure it by yourself so download the Altcoin's very own wallet that is giving you the right to hold your own private keys as no one will get access to your wallet in that way not unless you give it intentionally to others. If you want to hold it in a long term basis and to calm your mind you must never rely to store your cryptocurrencies to online exchanges even if it's a legitimate one. And when transacting online you must be vigilant in looking for the right URL because there are so many phishing website that is almost the same with the original one.
