You will not be able to mine any Ethereum doing solo mining. Even if you had more than 100 AMD GPUs estimates you would have to wait years just to find a single ethereum block. You will need to join Ethereum mining pools like nanopool.org or ethermine. I highly recommend you do more research. Google has a wealth of knowledge on how to start mining and this topic is extensively discussed.

You can definetley solo mine ETH with 100 AMD RX 570/580 GPU's. With 3 GH/s it would take about a week on average to find a block.

https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/ethereum-mining-calculator/?h=2900&p=600.00&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=1660403842420990&r=3.00000000&er=0.04498226&btcer=17207.36000000&hc=0.00

You would need to run the geth rpc client and connect Ethminer pount to your rpc server.

http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/eth-solo-mining/

For most people though, a pool like Ethpool.org is a better option. On Ethpool you accumulate credits towards a full block payout and only receive a payout once you accumulate enough credits to be the first in line at the top of the payout list for the next block found by the pool. Once you reach the top, you receive the next full block payout of ~3 ETH plus an Uncle payout if it's an Uncle block.

It's like solo mining, but you don't lose credit for the work you did if you don't find a block, like you do with solo mining. You also have the benefit of being able to estimate when you will receive a payout by looking up your wallet address on the miner stats page.

Solo Mining is not profitable anymore - choose a mining pool and try your luck.

that seems simple guide but i still cant figure out what to do

i have downloaded file and started to download blocks from geth-console.bat

figured out how to create account and addresses stuff and also how to send ethereum

but then i dont know what to do im trying to start solo mining on PC where i have installed all this stuff

i dont think i will use Ethpool.org ever it seems for me same as pool mining i want to mine directly solo to see will it be worthy for me or not

Like I said, you need to point your miner towards the Geth rpc server ip address. There are lots of tutorials online. Solo mining is not something you should try unless you have lots of hash power and know what your doing or you may waste a lot of time and power with nothing to show for it. That's why pools like Ethpool are a better option for most.

Each of the newcomers asked this question. But I want to assure you that you will not be profitable solo mining. In everyday life, you can try to compete with some of the major transatlantic Corporation. You should demonstrate your chances of solo mining. I recommend you to join any of the large pool.

I strongly suggest you join forces with other miners by using a mining pool. Solo mining would be difficult maybe impossible by using less number of gpus. I also suggest that when you hit minimum payout threshold, withdraw funds to your wallet immediately.

Solo mining is very difficult and should have many GPUs, and difficult to get a block. Better joins to a pool.

Pointless, unfortunately.

There is no such thing as ETH Solo Mining anymore.

Merit me or don't.

I can't imagine how long it would take to find a block--Ethereum has one of the highest network hashes of any coin--please mine with a pool rather than solo so that you are not disappointed or wasting money-- many of us have decent sized farms with dozens (some hundreds) of cards and would not even consider it.

If you're not willing to set up everything yourself to solo mine, whether it's too much of a hassle for you or something else, it's always possible to mine at a pool that allows you to solomine (but keep in mind these pools usually take a small cut, around 1-2% vs none if you setup solo mining yourself).

An example is this pool below. They take a 1.5% cut, but if you don't have the time to set up solomining yourself it's convenient and easy.

Since this thread already exists...

Do you guys think that 13 GH would be enough to consider solo mining?
Is it better to have a private pool (from an efficiency perspective)?

I would be very interested in your input on this as ethermine only pays for about 11.5gh out of the 13 (24h average) and I'm looking for an alternative.

Cheers!

there are many reasons not to solo mine.

the ones given by most here are poor and uninformed, or just disinformation to get you to allow pools to take over your hash power.

if you're asking here you're probably not technically adept enough to set this up on your own.

pm someone or do proper research and come back with specific questions about where you get stuck or what you can not understand.

just enter it, mining a lot now, there are so many, I think the difference is just mining into the wallet of the faucet or wallet outside the faucet, basically the etherum is mined according to the type of wallet.

Not only solo mining is not profitable but also pool mining is not profitable anymore with the crash of bitcoin and all other cryptos. I can list a few reasons why price has crashed but I don't know if maybe they are correct.

The main reason maybe  is the debate of BcH creators that they are pumping the media
The second maybe is investors not pumping anymore money into the crypto ecosystem and the last reason which I strongly believe to be the cause is the winning of ASICS against Gpu-s and Gpu producers not producing anymore specific mining cards.
