I created a dedicated VM for different Online Wallet (e.g. NanoWallet (XEM) and Ripple Desktop Wallet (XRP)), but they can't connect to their nodes. When I ping them I get a reply.

Tested Jaxx and Exodus and they are working (I think they use their own custom service). When I run the XEM and XRP Wallets on the host or on a different computer in the same network, they can also connect.

The operating system on the guest is Windows 10 Pro. Imported from a template VM (fresh OS install, some settings customized). After the import I changed the IP Address (the template VM is also not running, to ensure there is no IP conflict).

It is a standard VM with an External Virtual Switch. I also tried to temporarily disable the firewall on the guest.

Do you have an idea? Or what is the best way to troubleshoot?
