I've just downloaded the exodus wallet 1.40 before installing I uploaded to virustotal.com. It says that the wallet has a virus in it. After installing the exodus wallet I've noticed even without depositing or restoring my wallet, there is some strange down and uploads, which immediately stops when i close exodus. I've tried it several times and exodus seems to download something. Even though I didn't do anything except installing and running the programm.

I became very nervous. So I uploaded the shortcut of exodus to virustotal and there it says it has a backdoor. Now I know that earlier version of Exodus wallet such as 1.3X had trojans implemented.

(I've scanned it on virustotal myself in earlier version)

Why does Exodus Team do such things?

here are the results from virustotal (just add the www behind the 1 like www1. bitcointalk doesn't let me show the full link).

I did also use exodus for the last months, and recently was exchanging over a week ago 1000$ LTC to BTC and my funds vanished and I've never received my funds back even by contacting support. Aside this it doesn't matter if things happen or not. Why does Exodus put something like a virus in the software in the first place??
