Press department of APIBTC received very interesting information from the agency Bloomberg, according to which Jeff Garzik announced the launch of the next fork of the cryptocurrency No. 1 - UnitedBitcoin.

Jeff Garzick - one of the most convinced supporters and apologists SegWit2x.

Garzik talks about the following intentions: adding support for smart contracts, as well as support for the Lightning Network and the SegWit protocol. The block size will be 8 MB.

According to the head of the company Bloq Inc, UBTC is protected from replaying transactions.

There will be issued 21 million UBTC coins, just like the classic Bitcoin.

Most surprising is the fact that in the plans of the developers the release of coins from inaccessible or lost bitcoin-purses to direct the forkkoins to be formed at the UnitedBitcoin Foundation.

Jeff Garzik clarified that 30% of the above-mentioned forkkoins are intended to support other innovative networks: Ethereum, Qtum, Litecoin, Hshare and others.

All Bitcoin holders, like other forks, are entitled to the appropriate number of UBTC coins. Garzik insists that these coins are supported by a cash reserve designed to stabilize the exchange rate in pairs with the currency.

On which block UnitedBitcoin will be launched and when it happens - is still unknown.

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Jeff Garzik, one of Bitcoin's first developers and founder of SegWit2x's unfinished hard fork, is launching its own hard fork into the digital currency network that will originate a new currency called UnitedBitcoin (UBTC). Anyone who owns Bitcoins on the date, still undefined, will receive the same amount of the new digital currency. The amount of Bitcoins in private keys lost will be estimated and the same amount will be issued in the new currency, which will then be sent to a Foundation of the same name, UnitedBitcoin. In addition it will also serve as an intelligent contract platform, similar to Ethereum.

No, this project is total crap.

This is a total scam.

A fork is fine, but give the people the fork.

What is easily passed in the roadmap is that they give out coins that are active after November 1st.

So, if you bought your bitcoins 2 months ago - You get nothing.

So, 16.75 Million coins distributed, but if you haven't used any in the last 1.5 months, you get nothing.  THEY get them.

So, one for you and xxx,xxx for them.
another one for you and xxx,xxx for them.

I still can't believe that they expect anyone that purchase their coins as an investment over 2 months ago get nothing.

This is basically a scam, a pre-mine, and de-anonymization of bitcoin owners whom try to get some if this free coin by moving coins around if they want to claim anything.  It's not a fork when they get 16.5 million out of the 16.75 in existence.
