I think you are way ahead of yourself and AFAIK no companies have adopted Iota as yet--some companies are involved in a proof of concept data marketplace, so please lower the hype button.

This is almost impossible because IOTa market cap would have to exceed bitcoin market cap. Bitcoin has a working 'product' which is BTC and IOTa is still a prototype

Transaction times are inversely proportional to the number of transactions on the Tangle. The more transactions, the more quickly each transaction will be confirmed. As IOTA approaches critical mass of adoption, transaction times will approach the network propagation time. This thing is basically nice, but some other projects are promising big transation speed too, so, time will show is it really better than blockchain technology or not

Today the answer is "No". because Iota is still in the beta stadium. without the coordinators Iota wouldn't`t work right now.

No doubt its a good project but too much hype is doing many tricks with this hopefully this is going to be good but taking time if some one want to invest then surely do your own search and analysis then invest in any project just on hypes you can lost too much keep eye on this good news will come soon

this is my first post on this forum. I also invested about 100$ into IOTA.

My red flags are: 33% Attack, Kind of centralized, in general seems to be less secure then other cryptocurrencies.

I like: It's from germany, it's scaleable, it could be hyped.

I think it is a little overpriced, but then on the other hand everything is a little "overpriced" atm, isnt it?
