Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Do you want one that is just online? If so, blockchain.info is possibly still rated the best out of online wallets.

If you're fine with a software wallet there's two main options:
• Bitcoin Core, downloadable from bitcoin.org website and the top of this forum.
• Electrum, downloadable from electrum.org/#download.
Bitcoin Core requires a download of 150GB blockchain and electrum just needs a few MBs.

The top bitcoin wallet for me which I am currently using is mycelium and electroneum so far I have not encountered any problems or issues regarding them also you could try blockchain and brickblock because when you are trading many altcoins this wallet are good to use and secure in terms of transferring you coins to other wallet.

I still do not understand why we are not considering getting Segwit enabled wallets. Transaction fees from segwit addresses are cheaper than legacy bitcoin wallets.

There are alot of Bitcoin wallets on the play stores right now but most of them are fakes trying to take away your money from you. here are some trusted wallets for android. always double check on things that you're downloading on Playstore.

- Blockchain.info's Official wallet
- Coins.ph (If you live in asia area)
- Coinomi (You can put multi assets here from Bitcoin to altcoins.)
- Breadwallet ( It's easy to use than most of the wallets listed here.)

Don't use any online wallet/exchanges in terms of security, all of them are vulnerable to hacking and anytime they can be breached and will cause losing your funds. Desktop wallet(electrum download ), offline wallet, and hardware wallets(ledger) are the most recommended yet I use mycelium for mobile wallet and it's considered as secured too as long as you have the backup of the wallet even your phone got lost or someone steal it still you're safe.

Use what? Mycelium? No... Mycelium is Bitcoin only...

Also, it isn't really that secure... especially if you've rooted your phone (or someone who steals your phone knows how to root it). The PIN code is stored in plain text in one of the data files Shocked That's pretty much the only "security" that it has.

Additionally, it doesn't support SegWit... and the devs seem to more focused on monetizing the wallet than improving it or fixing bugs. Roll Eyes

Having said that, the choice of Android wallets is pretty slim... There is a (lite) version of Electrum, but it is a bit feature limited... Samourai is a new wallet with a bit of potential.

As for multicurrency wallets... you'd need something like Jaxx... but to be honest, given the number of issues reported on here, I'm not sure I would recommend Jaxx to anyone.

For me coins.pH.

Coinbase. I don't see the above users suggesting Coinbase wallet.  It supports four coins.  Bitcoin,  ETH,  BCH and LTC.  I am using it. I find it safe and secured with 2FA authentication feature.  The transaction happens much faster. The transaction fees are low and  genuine though it's bit higher than other Segwit upgraded wallet charges. You can yes certainly have trust in it. The customer service is responsive. I do use Electrum wallet as well for Segwit addresses. Transactions fees can be adjusted by choosing number of blocks.  Good one.

Still coinbase is not the best wallet because it is an online wallet you are not holding any private keys so chances for hacking is there. And the fee in coinbase is very expensive then compared to the blockchain.info wallet they are using 6 sat per byte but we can still transaction 1 sat per byte according to the currency traffic in memepool.
I will ssay electrum is the best starter bitcoin wallet and the fee is much much less than any other wallets, and you can hold the private keys so funds will be safe.

As a Filipino, Coins.ph is the best wallet not only that I can store my Bitcoin but they already upgraded their system and now it can already has its own Ethereum wallet. Which make for us Filipinos to easily withdraw or encash our coins and deposit our money and easily convert it to Bitcoin or Ethereum. Though I'm also using Electrum for a much secured storage.

Coins.ph is for local country only and I think op is looking for the best android wallet with lower fees than what he currently used.

As of now I am only using electrum wallet for my segwit addresses and for legacy wallet I'm using mycelium.

Both of them are fine without any issues.
Some post here are recommending online wallet, which are not actually good.
If you really want the wallet to be fully control you must use the wallet that you can backup the private keys because this private keys is important where you can use for future recovery.
Using coins.ph, coinbase or any wallet without private keys are not safe any time soon they can be down or become scam .
So to be safety always use a wallet that you can backup your private keys for the future if you want it to transfer your wallet to other wallet provider.

What do you mean that Coins.ph is the only wallet available for filipino? Why you can't use other wallets?

All wallets can be used by anyone in the world and the wallet you saying is not a wallet even it is an exchange which cannot be used to store our bitcoins for any reason. You can use your Electrum for storing bitcoin and whenever you want to cahsout just move it to the exchange wallet and it may take only upto 30 minutes or less but your coins will be safe in a wallet.

You need to improve your reading comprehension skills. Where did OP say coins.ph is the only wallet available for Filipinos?

You can use your Electrum for storing bitcoin and whenever you want to cahsout just move it to the exchange wallet and it may take only upto 30 minutes or less but your coins will be safe in a wallet.
Maybe OP already knows Electrum? From the post you quoted above:

"Though I'm also using Electrum for a much secured storage."

This is the type of post that makes me wish we had some kind of "demerit" button.

Yes,I also knows that he knows Electrum then why they uses exchange for storing bitcoin,I meant to say that use bitcoin for storing your bitcoin, and whenever you want to withdraw or encash then move your bitcoin from wallet to exchange, the time needed for to do is 30 minutes or so.
