The regulator on board is rated at 30A.

If punin's blog (in finnish) is accurate, which we should highly doubt since they may have used external oscillator, the chips could do roughly 2Gh each without breaking regulators limits. This means 32Gh/s for a starter kit, yay Smiley and 512Gh/s for the 400 kit.

I can't wait to receive (and likely break Roll Eyes )my starter kit.

Can regulator could be replaced with 40A where will be able to run the 16 chip at 2,7Ghs?
Of course with heatsinks.

Of course with heatsinks.

It might be difficult to find a pin compatible regulator. It appears, from a brief search, that this regulator series tops out at 30A.

Regulator part number is TPS53355

Here's a post where Dave explains how to OC the board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251966.msg2745327#msg2745327

You are right Undecided
I have searched and seem that 30A is max they have. Still, redesigning the board with smaller amount of the chips is a posibility. e.g. making 2 boards what uses 8 chips each.
