Hi from Sweden everybody, I'm new to Cryptos and this is my first post here! I apologize in advance if it might be seen as a noob perspective on speculation, but I'd really appreciate you guys' thoughts.
There seems to be a consensus that comparing altcoins with USD is just simply not the way to go, but instead to look at the Altcoin/Bitcoin charts. Which I 100% get.
Which leads me to my question. For example Ripple/USD has absolutely killed it these last couple of days, whereas in terms of Ripple/Bitcoin it is faaaar lower. I mean, almost all Altcoins have fallen behind Bitcoin, due to Bitcoin's latest rally, and Bitcoin seems to be all clogged up now. To put it simply; when I look at the Altcoin/Bitcoin charts, I think it looks like incredible buying opportunities almost across the board. As a whole, does that mean it's Altcoin time? I've heard rumors about IOTA and many others going up on Coinbase etc.
Also, when I say "I think it looks like incredible buying opportunities almost across the board.", I am assuming that the Altcoin/USD and Altcoin/Bitcoin charts are to by analyzed in the same way, as to say; "buy low sell high". Which in theory should apply to almost all Altcoins right now, since almost everything has fallen a bit behind Bitcoin lately.
Is it really that simple, or am I missing something? Just because something falls behind Bitcoin can't automatically make it a "good buying opportunity", right?
Thank you so much if you decide to share your views!
(Also, if the answer to the above is yes, where would you recommend to buy them?)
A coin is a good buy when it current price is lower than the average of the previous months and when the coin is a worthy project, only when those two conditions are met you can consider that opportunity a good one to buy, there are many coins that may seem like a good investment now but most of them are shitcoins or copies from other projects so do not bother with those coins.
