Hi! A few of you have probably noticed that I've not been posting to much the last few months.  I've been busy creating...

As the Museum Curator my Job is to collect as much Bitcoin related physical memorabilia and equipment that I can find. The items in the museum also contain as much information as I can muster on the items themselves.

Obviously not every field applies to every item, but I try to be as thorough as possible.  Every item has a link where you can post a comment, so if you see any information that is incorrect, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know.

We also ask that if you have a physical bitcoin product for sale, I'd love to put it in the museum! Now you may also notice that I have a couple of items on there for sale, and a donation button.  Most of the profits of the sellable items will go towards acquiring new items to display, from those people who do not want to donate their items.

NOTHING from the display items will EVER be sold.  I'm keeping these here for the future. I'd like to one day (once bitcoin is used by everyone in the world) be able to display all these items in an actual museum for the world to see.

I used a Magento Community version as a template, and modified the crap out of it! Display pieces are set at zero price so my code then removes the cart button so they can only ever be for looking at, not buying.

Using a CMS is WAAAY easier that coding everything from scratch.  I looked at doing it as blog site, but browsing/searching would be a giant pain in the arse that anyone who visited.

I do have a couple of items for sale in there, but how many museums have you been to that didn't have a gift shop
