BTE - Bytecoin - We need to show some love!

Hey guys. This is for all you smalltimers and bigtimers alike. BTE; Bytecoin has virtually nobody mining it. We need to ressurect this coin and show it love. It was the first new coin that is SHA, to hit since the purgatory of alt-coins came. I have a bunch of VPS's I can throw up servers on if you guys can help me get them synced. Post links and info that will help get this coin back!

What we need I will lay out here in severity:

1. Nodes to sync our wallets and daemons to
2. Once we get the nodes, we need to mine. If you are sick of Scrypt, and for all you smalltimers (like myself) wouldnt you like to see MH/s which is so much higher than KH/s on your CPU's or crappy vid cards?
3. Pools. We need pools, once we get up there with the hashes, pools will be a must.
4. Establish a market for it. Cryptsy is trading it, and it looks like there are lots of orders for it. This coin will pop back, we just need to help it move along
5. Finish the "Merge-Mine" project. It was close last time, it can be done, so people lets do it! Once it grows in Hashes, merge mining will benefit it in the long run immensely.
4. Get people interested. Post your helpful info here and I will update this post!
5. Enjoy a new, rebirth of a coin

It's not. If it can be merge-mined with BTC and NMC, etc it can't be right? There was never enough info released on it to know. But apparently it's not.

oops yeah you are right, I kept thinking it had the same attributes as bitcoin but with scrypt.

Lets hope man. If not, im planning on doing a whole new sha-256 coin, and if so it's gonna need to be able to be merge mined from the beginning.

UPDATE: ive edited the mergecoin source on github with the values for bytecoin, anyone have any ideas on how to test it?

Good news man. My windwos AT is syncing. I mined a few shares at your p2pool, im going to stwrt it up agaain now. My wallet is still syncing on my windows pc but I believe my Daemon is synced. ANYONE WHO NEEDS AN ADDNODE PLEASE ADD THESE:

addnode=84.200.17.243  and addnode=47.54.128.204

I will be adding the daemon to more vps's soon, and I think I might relaunch the coin when we can get everything settled away. Ahmed keep us posted

I've asked for a sub forum to be made on bitcointalk and all announcements will be posted there first. Our current plans are:

1.Produce Merged Mining compatible client

Great. We shall make this coin everything that it should have been. I have resources for promotion and such, I just opened a new site freefromfiat.net that aims at showing the world a world without fiat and everything crypto. This coin would be a great flagcoin.
