Are there any interesting ICOs related to freelance industry? What are the existing blockchain freelance platforms and what are their advantages and disadvantages? And what do you think about the general concept?

Yes check booklancer, good project.
As was recently ICO WORDCOIN also for freelancers. There are mainly translations. But the launch will be only in the summer.

High risk high payoff

Check out blocklancer and ethlance

I've checked out both of them and don't get how they're going to deal with Ethereum as a decentralized platform. Isn't it too slow and expensive for services like that?

I would recommend you to review Coinlancer and Boon Tech except for Blocklancer and EthanLece. Many more freelance plaforms will emerge, such as these. I suggest you continue to review to Bitcointalk.
