you can use Bitfinex |many accounts locked these days|, Shapeshift, GoCoin all of them good.

bitcoin and Etherem network is so busy  |high fees|

Bitusd is another USD pegged currency/token. it's a lot better than tether. read this up(https://bitshares.org/technology/price-stable-cryptocurrencies/).
