Japanese company will start paying salaries in Bitcoin

This is actually profitable for the company and even to it's workers. As it's mentioned this new scheme will be started from feb the company could accumulate btc now and until feb there is a really high chance the price increases with this the company could save a lot.

For the employees as well there is a advantage if they get their btc and right next day it get's pumped it becomes even more profitable for them or they can simply use it for saving it.

Another great news from the Japan. This country is really taking everything seriously about the crypto world. I mean what are the chances of country getting the crypto currency registered as official currency of their country, then add up more mining rigs and exchangers and also moreover give away the OTC trading legally.

This all and now they are officially giving away the salaries for their employees which makes everything just prefect. :-) This is all due to proper planning and execution of the same. Without this nothing would have been possible. Other countries are not taking things seriously. They think bitcoin as the first enemy of their national economy and that why they fear of having it. But Japan is going in the right direction.

Japan is playing as a role model to other world countries in legalizing bitcoin and now a step ahead in even paying salaries to its employees.We could not even imagine such a scenario now in any of the other world countries.

GMO being a giant internet company has paved the way for other companies to implement it.Since its going to start bitcoin mining,it would get bitcoins as block reward and so,it has no need to buy costlier bitcoins in the market to pay its employees which would not be practical and profitable.

Japan does look like it's leading the charge and adopting bitcoin much more that many countries, this will change next year.

This is really amazing while many countries are in doubt of having bitcoin as a currency Japan give their full support to bitcoin and virtual currencies. By giving bitcoin as a salary they also give investment opportunities for their people especially that bitcoin value keeps appreciating from time to time. Japan and Japanese companies were always leader in the use of digital currency and support blockchain technology  ( as it is one of the most developed countries that digitalise their daily life issues ) . But what I wondering about is : in the case of a massive BTC price change , will these employees get recompense ?

Pretty cool imo, it may encourage the use of btc or other crypto.
But then there are good and bad, it's the rise and fall of value, is quite big nowadays... it will be good for the workers.
But once it falls, those who earns and keeps it... is basically losing value of their $ real fast.

It show the advancing in the field of the technology and modernism that Japanese company will start paying salaries in bitcoin. It will raised the trust of the employee on the company and the company will be more hard working because they will get some extra profit when their salaries will be in the bitcoin. The chance of the holding of the bitcoin for those employees will be very easy and they will enjoy the life after when their salaries convert into bitcoin.

I really appreciate this move by the company because it will not only help the company to save the transaction costs but also it will be helpful for the employees too in order to manage their investment. In my country, you are taxed only when you are cashing out your funds so I can hold my earnings in BTC without converting into the fiat currency for the purpose of the tax planning that too in a legal way. This decision would also help the employees from other countries if they are willing to send some funds to their families.

Hehe, I share the same feeling. If a company here would try to pay their employees with BTCs I doubt they could do this without creating issues with the government and labor rights, even if the employees agreed. Japan is really going through a good path, adopting innovative technologies and absorving the best of it to proportionate life quality and accessibility to its citizens. A country turned to the future.
