I have an empty warehouse (pretty big don't know the exact size off my head) the cost of rent is 10,000 a month. Use to be a grow operation so everything is super advanced electricity wise. The average industrial electricity rate is 2.18¢/kWh. I have around 500k-1mil budget, what supplies would I need for it to pay for itself plus profit.

That is more than enough budget and actually too big of a space for just a mining rig. If you really want to build a mining farm then youtube is a good source of information. Though maintaining it would take more effort and consume time. If you invest even just a small percentage of your capital in bitcoins I'm sure you'd have more profit than what you'd get in mining in the same time frame.

Your budget is really big. Honestly to say, I think you should spend a part of it for buying coins, because if you invest all that much money on mining, it a very big farm with maybe about 320 rigs + electric bills.
For this farm, I think it's hard to handle without some professional guys support you. Me and 3 others friends were hired by a group of people who want to build a farm with mostly same budget as yours. We spend almost one month and a half to finish all.

I expect to make money by the coin value increasing as well. I was just wondering what type of miner and how many I should get to make a decent profit.

If you have a budget like that and don't have an idea as to what you need..... you need to research a ton more.

I have a big ass personal farm 200+ units and i spend most of my days checking, cleaning upgrading selling etc.  If you don't know mid level IT stay away.

You need to decide on a mixture of stuff, diversify and go.  If you don't know as to what, I suggest you do what Maka said, buy coins and sit back.

I'm here to make money, buying crypto currency is extremley risky. At least I would make something from mining. I'll just try to do more research.

Start small and expand from there.  Especially if you don't know what the fuck you're doing.

Ok, I want you to walk back in there and very calmly, very politely tell the risk assessors to fuck off! -Mark Baum
