Wow, you already went out and got 5x 1070s without doing sufficient research?

Directly mining BTC with GPUs is not practical (and hasn't been for years), if you care about revenue. Therefore, of the two options you have provided, ETH is your best bet.

(Or ETC, since that's what your thread title mentioned.)

Hashrate generated from 5x1070 will not be possible to mine bitcoin. although it's already in OC or in bios mod. Diff bitcoin too high and Bitcoin use 'ASIC'. if GPU reasonable for mining Altcoins(ETH).
