[HARD FORKS] Updated List of Bitcoin Splits

The split is getting to frequent lately. I think something should be done to address it.

In an open source community what can be done about it? The only thing I can think of is the right to the use of the name Bitcoin.

they're all garbage. bitcoingold? a fuckin zcash rip-off.

it's such disgusting business practice, bordering on scamming. they are playing on people new to the space that don't know the difference.

am i saying bitcoin is the best? no....but come up with your own brand for christ sake.

Does anyone here know details about Bitcoin Atom and Lightning Bitcoin? I didn't find dates of block numbers for a snapshot doing a quick skim over their websites.

Do you have any information about segwit2x fork?

Futures of it are already trading. I can't say with certainty whether or not it is a scam but it could very well be and nobody is certain prior to launch. Watch here for developments in terms of the price:

ZClassic and Bitcoin are having a baby: Bitcoin Private. Fork in mid to end of January. So you get 1:1 for each Bitcoin you hold AND each ZCL you hold. This should get interesting!

Wow..I didn't even know these many forks have taken place this month. The only use of it is that users would get informed of the forks that have took place. So you get free money for this,and am I the only one who literally has lost all his hopes in the bitcoin forks as most of them have turned to be rather useless. I don't find any use to its cause. Saddening reality check .

Would someone be kind enough to explain if there is such thing as a hard fork proof coin?

I mean what if a coin doesnt want to have any forks?  Especially privacy concerns and hacking concerns due to unauthorized forks?

Any advice would be appreciated.
