Hey guys,
I have a question about my corsair Cs750s power supply.

When i push the power button on my motherboard the cpu fan and the fan of my psu both start spinning but the psu makes an annoying clicking sound.
See this video:
https://vimeo.com/247528534

I tried to search the web for it, but no luck so far.
I did order a new one that came in today, but it makes the same sound so i suppose the power supply isn't the problem (or i received two faulty ones...)

I disconnected my gpu's, ssd and ram to rule those out, but nothing changed. I stopped the psu fan with my hand but the sound continues, so i don't think it's the fan.
As a newbie to mining i ran out of possible errors to check. Maybe one of the pro's on this forum has an idea?
I could really use some help with this  Huh

2 consecutive units being duds is possible, but highly unlikely.

What does the rest of your system look like? (To estimate power requirements.)

I only have 2 Rx 570 graphic cards attached to my Asrock h81 btcpro motherboard, so power must be more than enough right?

Yes, with that PSU, you should be fine running both of those cards on that board.

This may not be the source of your problem, but I suggest that you move one of the risers to connect to the primary x16 slot on the motherboard. (This is the only physical x16 slot on your motherboard.) Then use the card connected to that slot for your display (change BIOS settings if necessary).

What does that do? Sorry about my ignorance, totally new to this..
I haven't even attached the screen because of the sounds from my psu.

How i see it it has to be something with either my motherboard or my cpu/heatsink, because those were the only things attached along with 2 different psu's.

https://ibb.co/d9aXaR

Maybe something wrong with the termal paste ?
Or i didn't place the cpu the right way? I needed some power to put the clip on the cpu down, but i don't know if that's normal.

The motherboard i can still return if it's broken, the cpu isn't that expensive to rebuy.
Thanks for helping me out btw.

You might want to check if your system can even reach the BIOS splash screen. (Perhaps even try without any graphics cards, and only using the graphics cards.)

If you already removed the CPU cooler, then you could reseat the CPU and also check for bent pins on the motherboard.

Looks a bit damaged. Can this be the problem?
