I'd say on the next boom (2019?) Ethereum might reach $5000. Don't think it will happen this year. Though we could see $2000 maybe around the end of the year if the whole market starts moving positively again in a sustained way this summer.

it seems that there is some kind of competition on the forum who can presume the prices for the etherium more than someone else. It seems to me that not only 5000 dollars, but also 2000 dollars, unrealistic prices for ETH, especially until the end of this year.

I think that you are too optimistic with this number. $5000 for Ethereum is way too much in my opinion. $2000-$2500 is the more realistic and possible price.

I would beg to disagree. Rather I would suggest you to base your predictions on the nominal data available and not on the rumors flying around. ETH might not able to go so high because in order to go big, one must have a huge demand in the market that pushes up the prices. The demand for ETH is high I agree but not higher than that for Bitcoin. Furthermore, the element of profitability in ETH is not as high as it is in Bitcoin. It can go as high as 5k dollars but not beyond that or till 10k dollars.

I don't think this predictions can be achieve. Ether is now trading far less than halve of $5000 and to say it will be in between 5000 -10000 seems impossible. We have less than 8 months to end the year and not much improvement.

Ether is a good project with working product and the price is increasing due to great demand. The old best price was almost $1500 and next station can be around $5000 actually. There is nothing wrong with this.

I trust this project and it seems to me that this is one of the strongest coins, but I do not believe that the price can reach 5-10k this year. It seems to me unreal.
