Now even $ 2000 for Ethereum seems an unreal price.
But I think that when the market changes trend and the bulls will rule the market, then the price can easily grow to 2000 dollars.

$1,000 is a bit challenging so thinking of it going to $5,000 - $10,000 is an obstacle right? anything is possible but i thought ethereum were still too far away from 5000$. i think its gonna hit around 2500$ this year
That's true but we have to be realistic with the possibilities. |

It is impossible, it only reached $1300 during the last year because a miracle just like it happened with Ripple and the three bucks, both scenarios are not going to happen again.

All that could happen because in this world for me there is nothing impossible to happen so maybe this year there is an unpredictable surge at all but if you see the real situation at this time in the market is still very far possible to be translucent until 5000 dollars let alone up to 10000 dollars.

I do not think that the ether can grow like this, it will be bad for the whole market. And such demand will increase commissions from transactions that will badly affect the entire market.

I really believe and support ethereum. I also think that ethereum will ahve the best future actually froma ll altcoins.The smart contracts plattform is just pure genius. And its just a question of time untill big companys are using it too. So i think in future ethereum can reach fice thousand dollars, but i think 2018 would be to early!

Ethereum are good coin but not that too good to reach that $5000-$10000 in 2018. in two to ten years from now it might reach depend to market at that time. if the market are crash it might be a nightmare for all.

Ethereum has no chance to achieve this huge price, the maximum for this moment is 1500 dollars. This coin can not achieve that growth in six months. Price for this moment is low and do not growing a lot so it is impossible in my opinion

That's quite impossible to reach because as we can see, Ethereum has struggled hard to even reach the 800$ mark again and we're already in the last part of the second quarter. But who knows, Ethereum will make a historic run this year because we also don't know what the future lies for Ethereum this year.

I have always though that ethereum can reach great values, even a level of $5000-$10000, but I don't think that ethereum can reach this values in this year.
I think the ETH problem set to be 5k-10k $ or more is just a matter of time because for me ETH is the most potential coin in the cryptocurrecny market. Many practical applications using ETH, many ICO projects using ETH platforms also help ETH to have a strong community in this market. As you said, I also think ethereum need just more time. I think it has already a good popularity now, and in my opinion, this popularity is likely to rise more in the future. |

ETH definitely looks in a good position and this can lead to a great monetary value in the market in the current year. There have been good expectation in the market about ETH and it is expected to rise as high as $2000 or beyond that. It looks a bit difficult when I think about ETH touching $10000 in 2018. This is because even Bitcoin right now is in the $7k range, so a trend of price appreciation even in Bitcoin might not rise the values of ETH that much. It might be possible in future. |

If the remaining market will start to rise and the price of ethereum will reach to more than $50k then it is possible that the price of ethereum also increase much higher in that period and then it is possible that we see the price of ethereum around $5000 and at that stage if the price of ethereum reached to a value of 0.20 in BTC then it will mean that the price of ethereum reached to $10000. The price of ethereum and all other coins depends on the price of bitcoin. It is actually bitcoin which increases and we see rise in other coins too. |

It did go to almost 1.5k so i don't think 2k is that much of a stretch - well, maybe in the currently market but during the next bull run a price of above 2k would be all that surprising to me. 10k would.

So I made a prediction on Litecoin a few days ago that sparked a lot of conversation on the thread. It was very interesting reading the different thought processes and predictions. So I decided to do the same for Ethereum, however, I think that Ethereum has a chance to go beyond the 2-5k threshold in 2018, if only they would market a bit better. I believe that they need to get these new "coinbase noobies" to understand what Ethereum is and why it's significant if they want to stand a chance of getting above that threshold in 2018.
