Could anybody please share fresh blockchain snapshot?

Hi anotherlateminer

You're right, it's about time for a new snapshot.
We'll look into making one available somewhere this week.

Have a nice day
Looking forward for it. Unfortunately, my wallet got stuck.

Fresh from today Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Hello all

We are aware that price of SUPER is rather low at the moment.
Don't be alarmed, this is caused by users on coinexchange and novaexchange who are dumping their coins (not just SUPER).

They have simply not yet discovered freiexchange, crex24 and nlexch.
We also have friendly and direct communication channel with all 3.
We've personally tested and validated all 3 of these exchanges and have had nothing but positive experiences with them.

Perhaps some people don't realize this yet but we now have more markets than we had on our old exchanges!
So, amid all this exchange turmoil, we're actually improving our marketspread!

This could be opportune moment to grab some cheap coins on coinexchange and transfer them to one of the current exchanges.
However, as always, don't spend more than you can afford. Smiley

Have a nice day!

Hello all

We have 3 things to mention:

the price
Following the news of coinexchange and nova we experienced a huge drop in price.
Down to 2sat.

But now that the news has settled down the price is creeping up again, we're now at 10sats!
Which would have multiplied your investment at 2sats by a factor of 5!

the spread over exchanges
We see a lot of truncations on crex24, which is GREAT! Smiley
But don't forget we also have other exchanges.
Freiexchange is nice and steady exchange as well
and
nlexch which offers the most markets with different trading pairs.
https://crex24.com/exchange/SUPER-BTC

https://freiexchange.com/market/SUPER/BTC

https://www.nlexch.com/markets/superbtc
also check out the other trading pairs

yobit
We've urged Yobit to either synchronize our wallet or to delist us.
It's time we break away from their fraudulent exchange.

Feel free to like our reply tweets to back our request:

LOL, I synced my wallet after ~16 months and then began to stake.

Monitored POS difficulty while staking...watched it spike from 0.00025655 to 0.04462957 over a 30 minute period before settling back down.

Staked 20,000+ Super though  Grin

Wallet contained thousands of transactions from 2014 to present so after staking I moved balances to a fresh wallet...just to clean things up.

Hahaha 20k, nice! Cheesy

We've noticed that having tens or even hundreds of thousands of transaction can significantly slow your wallet down.
So moving your funds to a new wallet every couple of years is a pretty good idea.

Nice job CryptoJohn and thanks for sharing your good news!

Have nice day!

Hey TG,

Any updates on wallet?
Current version is so old it's like a steampunk version of QT  Roll Eyes

Also curious about new listings? It seems premature to put too much effort into multiple listings...just curious if anything is happening?

Thanks,
john

Hi John, sorry for the late reply.

Nice picture of your setup! Cheesy

The new wallet is not coming along as easily as we want it to.
We need someone who knows his/her way around coding better than what we've seen in school. Smiley

In the meantime I'm looking into porting the current wallet to MAC.
It's something that we used to have but unfortunately the source file disappeared before we took over the SuperCoin project.

New listing requests are mainly not being answered by the exchanges.
But I honestly believe that we're being traded on some nice exchanges right now so there is indeed no big urgency to get listed on mlore.

We're also trying to get yobit to reconnect with the rest of the world instead of keeping their SuperCoin hostage in a closed ecosystem.

I hope this answers your questions.

Have a nice day

Hello all

We've been contacted by swop.space

They offered to list our coin for free on their website, which promotes coin exchanges without the need for an account.
But we're suspecting them to be scammers:

We've completed the listing request and now they're saying that, since they don't have any exchange requests for SuperCoin, they need an eth deposit

All of this does not work in their favor:
  • After completing the FREE listing form, they're requesting a deposit of 2.73Eth to list SuperCoin.
  • We can hardly find any info about their service.
  • Their website contains a lot of typo's. Some of which have been fixed since we mentioned them
  • The address they specified for us to make the deposit to is linked to yobit! https://etherscan.io/address/0x4bf71b1a487c2203c529310a3354c42d0a8539e1

So we're not inclined to pay the listing fee.

What are your thoughts?

Kind regards
TG

Hello all

We're currently talking to a software developer who is willing to update our code and meanwhile try to decrease the memory usage.

We're wondering what else you, the community, would like to see changed.
This could be done in this release or can be taken up in a possible next one.

All ideas are welcome.
So speak up! Smiley

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Kind regards
TG

In what way is it going to be updated? Rebase to newer Bitcoin Core or some updates applied to current code?

We're opting to update our wallet to newer code while maintaining our own chain.

Hello all

This is a fundraising post.
The website, the blockchain hosting, the vps... are currently all paid for by us.

Now the time has come for us to call on you!
We would like to raise 0.1BTC to pay the developer to update and improve our beloved coin's wallet.

As SuperCoin is very community driven we are counting on you to help us out.

We are aware that SuperCoin is trading historically low.
We belief that one of the reason for the slow adoption of SuperCoin is the slow development of our wallet.
So if you would like to see and updated version of our wallet, with new code, a fix for the memory usage and many more items please make a donation to one of the wallets below:

BTC

BCH

ETH

Thanks in advance!
And also thanks to those who can't afford to chip in!
We like everyone equally much. Smiley

Have a nice day!
