"Web wallets host your bitcoins. That means it is possible for them to lose your bitcoins following any incident on their side. As of today, no web wallet service provide enough insurance to be used to store value like a bank."

A paper Wallet is the safest!

Go here it explains all the pro's and con's of each type of wallet.

Try not to use web wallets, they're not the safest. I personally store my wallet in my external hard drive.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

Fortunately, blockchain.info is not a "web wallet", they are a "hybrid wallet".  This means you get to keep a backup of your private keys, and that blockchain.info doesn't have access to an unencrypted copy of those private keys.

Because of this, if you use a secure enough password and store a copy of the wallet file in a safe place, then blockchain.info is just about as secure as wallets like Electrum, MultiBit, or Bitcoin-Qt

I wouldn't keep your coins there at all times because its harder to trust online wallets now a days. However, blockchain has a great reputation, and really hasn't failed on the community thus far. I would say you are safe to use it, however, be very caution on leaving it there at all times. It is best to encrypt your wallet using the bitcoin client, and storing it on a USB drive, or using a paper wallet from coinbase.

PHCoin is the coin with a mission... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=58999 <=
