Wondering if anyone knows of any cellular company that accepts bitcoin as a form of payment or otherwise a way to get it using Bitcoin as a payment mechanism

I have a SIM card slot and 3G modem in my laptop ready to be used with a 3G capable card for mobile internet.. and it's be great to have that, but it's only really worth getting for me if I can pay using bitcoins.

Cheers.

Someone really should open up a Pageplus reseller store that accepts BTC. They have a pretty cheap reseller package from the company and I think it is about the cheapest phone service you can get right now ($80 credit with 1 year activation and $0.08 per minute using the Verizon network). I found this website http://www.itradebtc.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=72_116 but I have not used them before and they don't sell the $80 voucher.

You could always buy ebay or amazon vouchers off bitmit and use them to buy the prepaid service of your choice.

There may be reseller of such cellular companies willing to accept Bitcoin, but the actual companies themselves are fairly traditional and I doubt they will bother or even want to know about Bitcoin.
