As of today SAFEX is being delisted from Cryptopia and Bittrex, the only 2 exchanges that traded in SAFEX. Where do you go now to sell your safex coins are is this a lost case?

I'm curious about this myself. I don't want to sell them, and I think that SafeX still has a good future. I'm curious about others' opinions.

Exchanges are accusing the team not co operating with the so called mandatory wallet upgrade from omni.
And being involved in a pump of the coin in the period and making false accusations.

Quote
2 days ago OMNI updated their codebase, this is a mandatory release so wallets needed to be placed in maintenance while it was updated and resynced.

Since then the SAFEX community have launched an attack on Cryptopia stating that we have placed the coin in maintenance just to manipulate the price.

We froze the markets in response but this just resulted in the SAFEX community doubling down their accusations.

As a result we have now decided to delist SAFEX due to the behavior of the community in general.

Once the coin has fully synced (at block 394077) as of this post, the wallet will be re-enabled and you will be able to withdraw.

We apologize of any inconvenience but we have a strict policy against behavior like this and will stamp it out immediately in a hope we can clean up Crypto in general.

I don't see how your post points to them not cooperating? What pump are they talking about? I guess we've just been under the wallet price so long anything over 100 looks like a pump lol

Coins that will be delist will usually go up.
a week before delist, coin will rise almost 50%. I suggest to observe the price and get the right moment to sell.DYOR
Good luck.

I'm curious about this myself. I don't want to sell them, and I think that SafeX still has a good future. I'm curious about others' opinions.

If it is delisted from 2 big exchanger, what hope you have from it?
I think if you find the other way to sell it, do it soon you can. I think something wrong with safex if delisted from exchange.

I've been in situations where coins were about to be delisted. I never got any email from the exchanges, I was lucky enough to check the forum.

Did you get any emails about Safex?

When will it be delisted from bittrex? Because I've seen the chart said that about the green pattern and it doesn't make sense. Bittrex still holds the big volume of safex. and if that will be delisted from there and that becomes a doomsday for safex.

"SAFEX delisting
2 days ago OMNI updated their codebase, this is a mandatory release so all OMNI wallets needed to be placed in maintenance while it was updated and resynced. SAFEX is an OMNI asset (along with others) so is affected by this mandatory update. This is external to Cryptopia, and like any exchange Cryptopia must update the wallets. On an exchange with many thousands of transactions in our wallets this takes time.

Since then the SAFEX community have launched an attack on Cryptopia with a very large number of support tickets and posts on various forums abusing Cryptopia and stating that we have placed the coin in maintenance just to manipulate the price and profit from it. We froze the markets in an attempt to allay these concerns, however this just resulted in the SAFEX community doubling down on their accusations and threats and flooding our support and forums with further abuse.

We take a stern view of this type of behaviour from communities and as a result of this, along with other issues with SAFEX, in particular the fees and costs associated with this token, and continuous complaints in general, SAFEX has been put in our delisting queue. While this is still subject to a final review, it is likely that SAFEX will remain in delisting and will be removed from the exchange.

Once SAFEX has fully synced (at block 394077) as of this post, the wallet will be re-enabled and you will be able to withdraw. Cryptopia will ensure all users are able to withdraw all your SAFEX tokens prior to the delisting being finalised.

We apologise for any inconvenience but we have a strict policy against abuse towards staff. This is a good reminder to treat exchange support staff nicely - a torrent of abuse is never welcomed, and we do not expect our staff to put up with this type of behaviour from a large part of a coin community. While we understand that often there are only a small number of bad seeds in a community that are abusive, in this case the abuse came thick and fast from many.

We also apologise to those that were not involved in the abuse and have treated us respectfully through this process - it is due to you that there will be a final review prior to delisting, however due to other issues with this token as mentioned above this may not change the result
."

Cryptopia has edited there message on the newsfeed, there will be a final review before the dessicion to delist is final.

To bad cryptopia is only communicating through the newsfeed and doesn't send messages directly to the individual coin holders  Sad

REal unprofessional behavior from Cryptopia. Administrator behaved like a child.

Anyhow, looks to me like a good moment to double on Safex. Met Dan in person and he def is a guy who can deliver.

I am unsure. Delisting from bittrex is pretty big you will never get on it again.
But delisting from both exchanges is even worse, I guess the community couldn't afford to launch an "attack" after all.

Haven't seen anything indicating that there was an orchestrated effort by Safex holders to troll the only exchange it was listed on. Seems to me the main issue here is that Cryptopia is run by spastics. Unable to understand that people in those chats are a tiny percentage of holders like me that were working or busy with other things in life when all of this took place. If they were so hurt by mean words online then they could have just blocked them.

Absolutely no excuse for delisting without a warning.

NO! but everyone should get their assets OFF of Cryptopia as quick as possible because "Unoffical" Cryptopia might be going DOWN! They are trying to charge an elderly senior $38 US to remove $23 of Safex to their wallet off of the decrepit Cryptopia. This is the behavior of a sinking, demoral ship!

In peace, I pray everyone manages to get their assets off of Cryptopia in time.

I think it's a bad thing to be hungry for this coin when it's canceled on both major exchanges. Maybe this will make the price drop deep and not be able to save the coin again. Maybe we should sell it immediately, I do not believe in its future, it is too simple for people to recognize.

Nah, it isn't a scam. It's just gone from Bittrex and recently delisted from Cryptopia. There are still plenty of other exchanges that it could be potentially listed on in the future.

Heck, it may be back up on Cryptopia soon.

Too bad, I hope there's still a chance for safex to be listed in good exchanges, I once witnessed this coin having a good volume
in bittrex and suddenly they loss the trading market. I think the price is very cheap now, any chance to buy this coin from other exchanges not listed in coinmarketcap?

You are right, just search "Cryoptia delist" and you will see there are many results about Cryptopia delisting coins.

Do you know how much it costs to list a coin on Cryptopia? 5 million DOT. 1 DOT costs $0.016 so that's $80,000!
