Now that pitch has been shown to be a liquid, what about starting a Kickstarter to fund an experiment to prove that rocks are solids.

To guarantee such funding, only ask for $100, thereby goal should get surpassed.

The money will be used to buy rocks, a funnel, a clock,...

Really? They missed the last drop in 2000, had to wait another 13 years and couldn't get a better cam?

You will also need a video camera, as without proof who would believe this crazy theory.

I suspect that more than $100 would be raised, thus allowing the purchase of a video camera.

We need a University to host the experiment. Heavy forbids it gets tossed out years down the road by some noob thinkin' it's just a bunch of rocks in a funnel. The presence of the clock should give a clue that this is a viable experiment.

An app could be sold for $.99 so that people who are into such a thing can share the experience with their friends.

Please support The Rock Drop experiment.

Yes, this is all tongue-in-cheek, but the value would be in how clever the fake experiment can be made to seem real. <---(fuck me! this just spawned another idea)

What about corporate sponsorship?  You often chat with people from BFL on this forum, do you think they would give you some money?

Only if I call it the Bitcoin 100 Eon Project. Then again, once Josh hears rocks are involved, he may want to devise a plan to steal them to smoke, especially if the funnel looks like a pipe.
