CPU+GPU mining (xmr-stak)

Hi!
Question for miners who use xmr-stak. Is it possible to mine with CPU and GPU at once (Monero, for example). Developers made new combinated versions for cpu and gpu, but I don't know is it possible to mine with all theese at once (I want to buy few video cards and this unknown detail stops me)

Why would you want to country mine anyway? Yes you can use could and you together. Just run the miner twice and one set to cpu and the other cpu. If you want the easy way then look at minersgate there you can mne many different coins with both gpu and cpu.

I don't understand why you worried about mining with 1 little cpu on a mining rig or why that could be stopping you from buying gpus.

Even if, you will gain very little.
Reason is, GPU mining requires also CPU power to handle various things. So by using 100% of your GPU u need around 20-30% of your CPU also. So using that 50-60% of cpu will add almost nothing, because GPU is couple factors faster than CPU in mining.

Mining with CPU is futile you will only burn out the processor. 
As already stated you are best to stick to GPU your CPU will also be loaded up with threads while your machine hashes away on the GPU.
I think there are some coins that can still be mined with CPU only but the reward for such mining is minimal and not worth the time or effort.

I have 2 Opterons 6276. They give me 450 h\s each. Motherboard has 2 PCI slots, so I'm thinking about adding 2 more GPU AMD 7870. So the question if it is possible to mine CPU+GPU at once or I won't have 450 h/s from each opteron as I have now?
