It just seems like it's hit or miss.  Tons of people on here saying it is down, but when I go to Cryptsy, I see a fully-loaded chatroom...

strange!

Come on guys, hire a security professional, please. You must be making enough coin by now... spend the money, get this shit fixed for good.

Even with the site up trade executions and cancellations are taking far too long.

What you have to be kidding me?  Down again?  Wow like other users have said very fucking professional, hire someone that actually knows what they are doing as your continued blunders are only losing you customers for good.

EDIT: Working again now.  Hopefully it'll be up for awhile now.

I just wanted to chime in and say thanks to Bitjohn and Big Vern working these issues out.

Afterall, with the exponential growth of the site, i'm sure there are bound to be issues.

I'd say you guys are doing a good job despite these 13 pages of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Its all about what the people want...

still down for me.  I deleted local cache and tried your https:// reccomendation with no resolution either.  Dying to know if my trades are executed.  Our BTC and other alt assets should be relatively "safe" right?

<facepalm>

Cryptsy is down because of a DDos attack. You can't "professional" your way out of someone sending several times the traffic your website is designed to handle. FYI, they are already using a "professional" DDos mitigation service.

There is no security professional who can prevent DDOS.
They are already using the highest rated DDOS protection service of this year.
Yes there is a way to prevent this but it's for networks that have limited amount of people, it can't be implemented on a wide scale. No website has ever succesfully avoided a large scale DDOS.

We are currently implementing our solution to the issue. No time frame at this time. Keep your fingers crossed.

BitCoin Talk is also throwing strange errors as if it is being DDOS'ed as well? Extremely long load times also.

Just got this error here:

Connection Problems
