Saw some threads like this a while back, decided to pull everything out of Cryptsy. Until that time, it had been my primary exchange. I also used BTER but can't really be confident about it either. Soooooooo, yeah, I don't have an exchange I can trust but Coinbase. hahaha. I have pulled all my coins out of all exchanges. I am waiting for a new model of exchange where the exchange doesn't own the private keys. NXT is working on this but I think it is months away at its earliest. I have heard about some other services that might be able to enable exchanging without the exchange holding the keys. Hey, the exchange can charge me a fee, that is fine, but I want my coins to be my coins and I don't want delays in putting my coins in and out. Or if there are delays, I want them to be more up front, clear, transparent, and reliable with so that they inspire confidence.
If I absolutely have to trade, I guess I will look towards Kraken or Bitstamp. Kraken in theory has a lot of big backing and have thought out their legal issues and security well.

Craptsy down again.
Might be time to move my coins off to Mintpal once its back up. Just about had enough of their laggy servers & login issues & they have had more than enough time to fix it. My patience has run out with this exchange.
