So I've finally just outright lost my temper with my current webhost synweb.com, they were alright when I signed up but their support staff etc. got worse and worse as time went on. Unfortunately they seem to be quite a niche provider from what I've seen but I'm hoping that Bitcoin can compensate for some of the stuff they provide like not plastering all my details onto the domain WHOIS lookup like the rest of them do. I did find one called CleverPuffin by some miracle but unfortunately they told me they wouldn't be able to do domain transfers due to the cost involved which is a shame because I really liked the look of them, I wish more web hosts were Bitcoin only.

My requirements:

. Unmetered bandwidth to handle digital downloads and stores ( I've been able to find plenty of Bitcoin webhosts that have limits on everything unfortunately )

. Adult content shouldn't be a problem ( again these smaller Bitcoin webhosts seem to be restrictive on this type of thing )

If there are any webhosts reading this and are wondering about my content, anything I host is entirely legal and will probably only piss off some crazy activist groups. I just need a reliable webhost who won't fuck me around after I sign up and won't try to outwit me with fine print, newbies would be amazed at the stuff these guys put in there. Would appreciate it if someone else could tell me of people they've had good experiences with too.

The only bigger bitcoin accepting hoster I know is Namecheap
I only used their support whenever I had problems with domains but I never hosted a dedicated server with them. They are located in us, so adult content shouldnt be a problem as long as you play along the rules.

Im not sure what server requirements you have, but it will be hard to find reliable big web hosts who accept BTC...

Yeah, like I'm going to join a webhost that openly spies on its customers Tongue

I just had one of those moments where I don't understand why I hadn't thought of it immediately, I could still sign up with clever puffin couldn't I? I'd just need to forward my domain names and store them somewhere more trustworthy, so far synweb doesn't seem to have cocked up in that area.
