1. Top 1000 Bitcoin addresses control 34.28% of total Bitcoin in circulation.
2. FBI owns 1.5% of world's BTC.
3. 64% of BTC have never been used and may never be used.

Wow for the things which you have mentioned here are new in the first place! I can't imagine how the money is concentrated in the 1K Bitcoin addresses, I'm sure that these might be the oldest one who kept the bitcoin as it is and never sold it. Over the time they might have gotten costly anyway. FBI seems to me very rich and who knows they might be taking little satoshi out of it. Haha. ! How do you got the estimate of unused 64% of BTC. I mean there is already 16 ml + coins in circulation and how you can be sure about unused coins. There has to be all of them in use otherwise how could we have so much market cap. You getting what is I want to ask?

I'm with some others in the thread in that I question the validity of these claims and statistics, do you have any sources for this material or is it just something you've heard? Although I have heard that an extremely large number of early bitcoins mined and addressees used were not taken very good care of and got lost in the abyss. Many were lost during tests of security, integrity and many were lost to just plain carelessness. When you say "FBI" are you talking about the individuals that make up the FBI or do you mean the government entity itself has an address or multiple addresses under it's control? If this is the case do you happen to know why that is? Are they simply interested in the technology, or do they have motives beyond that? I'm also going to assume when you say "never been used" you are referring to have never been moved since being mined, or am I naive to think that is the criteria? Please explain if i am mistaken, because I believe that whatever definition is labeled on "never being used" could simply be explained by "HODL"ers or something similar that just happens to be very prevalent among our community. Last thing, does "top 1000" addresses mean the address with the highest amount of bitcoin going in/out within a given period, or does it just mean the addresses with the highest quantity of bitcoin in them currently? I'm just trying to get a more firm grasp on what you are presenting here, and it's really difficult without a citation, sources or some explanation/definition of these terms... I may be ignorant, so let me know if I've missed the memo where these were defined officially. Without that though it reallly is hard to do any sort of analyses or conversation on this, so unless you're just trying to spout off random facts then clue me in, please!

Around 4 million btc have been lost forever due to losing private keys or long term hodling or maybe even due to transaction fees. This implies that 1/4th of total mined supply is lost which implies the reason why bitcoins price is really booming a lot. According to new research from Chainalysis, a digital forensics firm that studies the bitcoin blockchain, 3.79 million bitcoins are already gone for good based on a high estimate—and 2.78 million based on a low one. Those numbers imply 17% to 23% of existing bitcoins, which are today worth around $8,500 each, are lost.

The news you have put are quite interesting but sorry to say don't look like any authentic one. Especially the FBI stuff, why will FBI need to buy bitcoin? Also the #3, where did you get this news? What were the sources of these news? Secondly what OP is trying to say by posting it? Is it some kind of a grey area identification?

If one thousand legal entities or individuals own almost 35 percent of all produced bitcoins, this should indicate that these rather influential people will see to it that bitkoyn is recognized by the community and has a high rate. This is generally not bad. But why did you need the FBI bitmakers? They generally carry out various kinds of operations, including semi-illegal and illegal, and may and will in such cases need calculations with individuals whose contacts they would not like to disclose.

Not all statements in Google are facts. Some are own perception that are just given to be a additional insight And I was thinking where is the percentage of lost coins ? And how can you prove that FBIs do have bitcoins ? Why didn't you think about rich peoples. Very weird for a fact I guess.

lol yeah. i totally agree with this. not all written on the internet are true or legit because people can always write or say what they want without really knowing or investigating the real source of it if its really a real happening or just only a speculation. however i may only believe it if this source was came from wikepedia because wikipedia is indeed legit online encyclopedia that has a complete database about the worlds special events and happening that may be important for an average joe to know.

Didn't know the fbi part. Regarding the unused coins yes it is really sad to hear to that many early miners couldn't keep their control and simply threw their btc away or simply deleted their wallet without realising it would be worth millions.
I also know many other facts like btc will end in 2020. Mamy won't agree but if you actually see after all btc are mined there is nothing there for miners to do because of increase in difficulty and no additional reward as well would lead the networks getting super slow and fees reaching to sky.

I don't care about these, I think most people are concerned about the investment bitcoin to much gain in long time adduction, if several of these are true, then, bitcoin is actually controlled by a handful of people, perhaps from the beginning of the design is good, but we now have crazy in the buy, I don't know how to choose, I also bought some.

These are reality in bitcoin life because here the fact of 64% , may or may not be wrong but one of mine friend is in bitcoin since 2010 at that time the value of bitcoin was totally very useless like and a site named like mtgox was where he has lots of bitcoin ( about 20000 btc ) , as we know that value of btc was very low but due to some government issued and hackers the site get hacked and that site after that never come back in his memory , so here we can understand well that at that time may be many people who putted thier btc get lost . Well these strange facts are really better but the next interesting fact that I think is that complete mining of new bitcoin will not get stop , Because after mine of single bitcoin results into toughness of mine another next bitcoin .

I do not believe that 64% of bitcoins have never been used and will not be used. It is a fake. It seems to me that you are very ill prepared. Qualitative fake may make sense. But your version of complete idiocy. Many ldey prefer to keep their coins for the future and for this reason, their accounts can be without movement for a long time. Nobody knows.

This is not a fact that can be Googled readily but I find this very common nowadays especially when the price of BTC went to the roof. People that I know nowadays invest their hard-earned money without knowing what BTC is and what it really does. I find this experience an amusing fact that is very common. They don't even know that they can use it to buy certain things online. They are here just for the profit and would not bother to enrich their minds about the basic knowledge surrounding cryptocurrencies.
