Hello. With your project name (OctaGen & OctaEx) and targeting industry (crypto financial) your logo cannot be anything else than the combination of the characters 8 and | transforming the two in a valuta symbol comparable to $. It will be even very easy to integrate the symbol into fonts.

The top circle is the O standing for OctaGen and the bottom circle is the O standing for OctaEx. Together they form the 8 standing for Octa in both names. I'm showing a few simple 2D examples below.

Looks good. But it will be perfect if you make standalone logo for Octaex, because it will be a cryptocurrency trading platform and Octagen is a coin of Octaex
