Guys, this is really serious. I checked the coinmarketcap website and right now the futures exchange rates are going at around $0.10 per coin. That means that for every Bitcoin we own, we will get $1,000 worth of free coins!!! This is really crazy. How many airdrops are we going to receive? I simply lost count - Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Hot, Bitcoin United, Bitcoin Unlimited, Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Liza and now... Bitcoin X?

Yes, Binance always is the first place distribute for new Fork coin. So that's why they are too success and fast growth in exchanger market. Offline store always take time maybe very long to have it update to support new fork

It really unfortunate that one will need to start keeping a list of the forks that have happened in other to be up to date because in the next one month, we might have lost count of the numbers that we would have had. I think the developers of BCH have actually shown the lazy developers that there is a flaw in bitcoin which makes it this easy to forked and continue with it. As we continue, we will later not even see any alt again as every coins would have something to do with bitcoin because they are l forked from it.

Yeah the problem with those "air drop" is that their "wallet" can be in fact just a malware that going to steal your bitcoins ...

I heard that YoBit has already credited its BTC holders with the free SBTC coins. But they are yet to credit BCX. I am not sure about the other exchanges and wallets.

These forks are starting to get ridiculous. At some point, some people will have lost a lot of money getting involved in all the forks that are diminishing in value with each new fork, seeing how everyone over time gets desensitized to new forks while the media hype is also diminishing.

Great question! I'm trying to figure this out, too. It is very difficult to find help for this issue.

When does it stop? Next year in the top 20, will there be only bitcoins? I love free money, but it can kill main BTC. Not necessarily kill, but will undermine confidence.

I wouldn't worry about it. Over time, the potential impact a fork can have whether it has superior technology/dev team or not will diminish as the public becomes desensitized to the same repeating scenario (fork after fork) while the media is less likely to cover/provide hype for new forks, for the same reason people respond less to them. This means that, although there will always be fork after fork (since right now the industry still incentivizes it because whoever forks bitcoin often makes a fucking truckload of cash every time), they will be less and less relevant to the point that you won't even be aware of them anymore.

I have created a website to help with this issue. It is called btcdiv.com and lists all current, upcoming and past forks and airdrops to Bitcoin holders including information on how to claim.

Any solution for this? I also store my BTC on Core qt wallet would not trust any exchange. One solution might be storing in a Ledger wallet then waiting for the upcomming updates that integrate those forks. But in that case you couldn't spend any BTC until then (which seems pretty unpractical).
So how do I get my unclaimed BTG, SBTC, BCX, etc. ?

Simply go to this site: https://bitcore.ccYou will see a list of upcoming Bitcoin forks, including the block number and date, official website and respective twitter accounts. Just click the link connected either to B2X or BCX and you will be redirected to their sites. From there, the airdrop registration usually located on the homepage, like Bitcore (BTX). I'm not pretty sure about other sites as I haven't visited them since I was too excited knowing that you could earn free Bitcoin-related coins through these forks. I've just learned it a few days ago and immediately made my own research about it. Now, I'm hoping that the other coins will be successful like what Bitcoin Cash (BCH) achieved.
