Hi,

I am pretty new in the mining world. From the Netherlands, so my English is a little poor perhaps.

This week we received 15 Baikal X10 miners. We already have L3's and Innosilicons running.
The interface for the Baikal is totally different, so i am having difficulty configuring that. But that is probably just practice and searching the internet. (however, tips are very welcome!)

But besides that, if have even a bigger problem. We now have 9 Baikals running. The other 6 i can't seem to find. I tried to look them up in Baikal scanner, and also in Advanced ip scanner, but no succes!

There is no reset buton on the miners. No sd slot. Only an USB slot and an other litte slot for some sort of connection cable. I read something about installing a new sd card image. Can i do this with usb aswell? There is no sd slot in the Baikal.

Again, 9 miners appeared perfectly when using ip scanner. But the other 6 are ghosts.....
I picked two of the ghost miners up and plugged them in at my own place, but also there they don't show up.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Please....

Francis

Check if the microsd is flush. Insert in and out a couple of times.

If not; try to put software on microsd again, if not; go to some electronic store in your country that has orange pi and replace the ones in the miners.

To btc or not to btc - that is the electrum

Thank you for your reply. I feel a little stupid..... What do you mean with 'check if your sd is flush?'
Does flush mean, that is starts up whatever is stored on the sd while starting up the baikal?

The Baikal X10 doesn't have a Sd insert. Can i use USB instead?

I have the same problem with 4 of my 10.

2 of them will not connect at all. The other 2 are spotty and not all boards work.

Also, pool side hash rate is 10%-30% of what it should be.

I fully formatted the sd cards of the baikals, then restored it with the new software https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Guf6L8Zd6IXcmPHKxA_oTHo6p1QJovtU?usp=sharing (from the baikal site)
Also configured a static i.p. address for each baikal with Baikal miner ip configurator, and they are running ok now. Still sometimes have to restart one. But since i gave them a static ip, i have less problems.

Ok I just got it by looking at some pictures around.
I guess you need to pull out the boards with the orangepi being on top
https://expositos.net/image/thumbnails/18/85/baikal_giant_x10_8_jpg-100444-800x800.jpg
and I guess the sdcard slot will be somewhere.

I was expecting it to be accessible from the back somehow.

Thanks
