Electrum desktop wallet....thats fine idea, I have heard of many of them. Which one would you recommend?
In terms of convenience and security,
Electrum is the best by far in my opinion so it's fine to use it even for a long run.
Anyway, As the guy above mentioned, your best bet to access your funds asap is to import it in electrum. I just want to add that when electrum prompts you to enter your seed/recovery phrase, you have to click the
Options button and tick the
BIP39 Seed box otherwise it won't work as the
Next button will remain greyed out.
After that you should be able to access your funds and send them to whoever you want but if you still have some funds left, I suggest that you should generate a new wallet using electrum and transfer/sweep the funds there because importing your wallet into another wallet is not good in terms of security as both of them are accessible in both sides particularly in your case since one of them is an online wallet which exposes your funds in greater risks.
