FTC appears to be under attack again.

Double digit Gh/s mining rate. Upwards of 26 Gh/s when it is only 3 position on coin monitors.

LTC pools? Botnet? I do not have the ability to find out that kind of information, otherwise I would.

I would think that 12 GH/s is not attack, but ... the fact that it was just reactivated on cryptsy + left only 11 hours to UNOCS :-) + currently difficulty dropped little bit (eg multipools switching)

are you sure it's not just auto script / multi pool users ?
when i visit here, https://www.multipool.in/
I see they are on FTC right now (see top right corner of screen)

What rate are you seeing? That does not seem plausible.

I just saw Current Network Hashrate: 15,220,519 KHash/s EDIT: *Current Network Hashrate   18,320,182 KHash/s*

That is something like 8x the normal FTC hash rate, and almost to LTC's hash rate. It was at 2-4 Gh/s previously.

I suspect they are hashing to get the next network difficulty to switch at which point their fork will come into play again and actually lower the difficulty. It will then snowball when the profitability rises like last time.

Current Network Hashrate   26,378,022 KHash/s

Higher than litecoin.

This is not the real hashrate, just stats error due to miner switching between main and forked chain !

don't loose your hash with FTC at the moment, better mine PXC http://pxc.theblocksfactory.com/

You are a terrible miner, and you are hurting your PXC investment via UNOCS partnership.

FTC needs real miners more than anything to fight it.

There's no FTC attack, it's been forked for over a month now.

It's a combo of things, stats errors due to miners going between various forks, auto scripts/ multi poolers etc...

Give it a rest. You have been playing the same, broken record.

The fast block times after a retarget skews the calculations. You will find a better estimate here (as it uses smaller number of blocks to average) http://www.feathercoin.com/netstats/

Have you been solo mining? Then its really on you.

I would have at least waited for the UNOCS announcement before selling, but I am sure you had your reasons. Best of luck with your mining.

Where do you think I got my 26Gh/s network reading?!
