Searching for great projects

What is your approach to search for great smaller projects? I do not mean what kind of approach you take to analyse projects or fundamentals of a token, I am more interested in how you find them? Do you mostly read in these forums, reddit, follow mentions on twitter etc. or do you look at websites like https://www.icoalert.com?
Personally, I do find them mostly from Twitter and recommendations from friends then sometimes when I see spikes on Coinmarketcap, but I would like to take a more active approach, thus looking for good ways. Thanks

Then what I do is always check their website to make sure how much pre sale they can because it has an effect on hard cap achievement.

I am not looking for them, they find me. Since most of current projects are really trash or not good for investors, I think it is mostly waste of time to look for good projects.

I would buy some BTC, ETH and also 3rd generation of cryptos like ADA and IOTA.

There are also smaler coins where you can start without money and by participating in bounty programs you can actually earn a lot. I earned 675 VIBs just from yesterday, that is the Viberate token. That doesn't sound like you are on a high horse at all... . Anyway the only way to distinguish between good and bad projects is to read and look into what they do. This can be tedious and hard to do by yourself that is why I advocate getting at least 5 people to do the same thing and then coming up with a conclusion because the way you see it may not be the way others see it. Or if you are really rich get a few assistants make them do the work

You are wrong with this, the actual projects are more profitable than ever, and more for the early investors.

Maybe you are a little bit outdated, but now there are better ico's and ipo's than before, maybe it is because there is a fever about bitcoin & cryptos at the moment.. But saying that they are trash and not attractive anymore... You are probably looking on the wrong place.

There are a lot of good projects, but probably 20 are good, and 100 are crap.

i go through the announcemnt section of the  altcoins on this fourm. bitcointalk forum is the most useful forum to know about any ico and to interact with the ico team. icoalert and icodrops are also good site for tracking the icos  but this forum is the best place to know more about the project and we also can read the members opinion on the project

I usually follow this forum. I'm definitely reviewing bounty campaigns. Especially Facebook, Twitter and Telegram communities are very useful.
Just spend some time here and attention to the comments

When searching for the great project is necessary for which is best. So my action on searching here in forum, most feedback, and their social media page that attracts investors. These are my kind of searching before joining or investing a good project.

The best way to find them is to check on CoinDesk, Reddit and this forum, where you'll find the announcement. To figure out whether it's a good project, read the white paper and check the team behind the project. There are a lot of scams, so research is key.

I am using this forum to scan for interesting projects, also sites like icoalerts and others, out of 100 projects 10-20 have chance to succeed but then they have really large returns (e.g. NEO, Stratis, IOTA). I also like projects, where you can get free tokens for participating in bounty programs.
