As far I understood ETH is more like a platform and BTC is like money/currency.

Which currency has the best tech?

Tech is vague word. There is a lot of different kinds of tech in the cryptosphere. The ones you mentioned are basically all of them the same tech. Do some more research alone. These are easy ABC matters.
